Our Story
Life is what inspired us to create a unique dental practice that shows how much we care. Some characteristics of life are the capacity for growth, functional activity, and change. Our practice is truly moved by these qualities of life. We believe that an orthodontic treatment should address much more than just straightening teeth.
Although experienced with traditional orthodontics, we observed there was something still missing. It was then that we realized the importance of addressing the root causes of orthodontic problems in order to have more definitive solutions. Life Dentistry, PLLC was established in April of 2011 with the vision of creating a unique dental practice dedicated to Myofunctional Orthodontics.
We envisioned that using these techniques would set us apart from any other orthodontic practice in Austin, and we embraced the mission to give our patients a unique experience using less invasive procedures and gentler orthodontic techniques.
As our practice has grown, we’ve been intentional about partnering with providers who share this same philosophy. That is why we are proud to partner with RJ Orthodontics, led by Dr. RJ, a Board-Certified orthodontist who shares our commitment to holistic, functional, and airway-based orthodontics. Together, we look beyond cosmetics to consider how the teeth, jaws, muscles, and airway all work together to support breathing, sleep, posture, and overall health.
Through this partnership, Dr. RJ offers clinical guidance and oversight regarding our orthodontic philosophy, helping ensure that the treatment our patients receive is fully aligned with myofunctional and airway-focused principles. By working closely with RJ Orthodontics, we are able to coordinate care, share diagnostics, and design treatment plans that respect natural growth, facial balance, and long-term stability—while still delivering beautiful smiles.
In the present, we are proud to say that we have seen our dream coming true by achieving our mission with passion and devotion. Day by day we find profound joy in helping our patients.
